Rivers State University School Fees 2026/2027:- The Rivers State University (RSU) school fees are an important consideration for students who are planning to study at the university for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Rivers State University, located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, offers undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time programmes across several faculties. The university publishes its fees and other financial information through its official channels, and the amount payable can depend on factors such as the student’s programme, level, residency status and whether the student is a fresh or returning student.

For students searching for RSU school fees 2026/2027, it is important to note that the university’s official website currently contains information about the 2026/2027 academic session, including an announcement for part-time programmes. However, I could not verify a new official regular-student fee schedule for 2026/2027 on the university website at the time of writing.

The latest official regular-student fee schedule that can be verified from the RSU website is for the 2024/2025 academic session. Therefore, the figures in that official document should be used as a reference rather than presented as confirmed 2026/2027 fees.

This article explains what prospective and returning students should know about Rivers State University school fees, including the previously published official figures, additional charges, payment considerations and how to confirm the latest amount.

Is RSU School Fees for 2026/2027 Out?

At the time of writing, Rivers State University’s official website contains 2026/2027 academic-session information, but a new official regular-student school-fees schedule for 2026/2027 has not been located on the university’s website.

This is important because several education websites may publish estimated RSU school fees without identifying an official source.

Students should not assume that figures from previous academic sessions are automatically the fees for 2026/2027.

The university’s official website remains the best place to confirm when the new fee schedule is published.

Latest Official Fee Information Available

The latest official regular-student fee document available from RSU’s website covers the 2024/2025 academic session. It contains separate fee structures for Rivers State students, students from other states and foreign students.

Therefore, students looking for an exact 2026/2027 amount should wait for or confirm the university’s official publication before making payment.

Rivers State University School Fees for Rivers State Students

RSU’s official 2024/2025 fee schedule separated students into different categories, including Science & Arts, Engineering & Law, and Medical Sciences.

The university also differentiated between fresh students and returning students.

For Rivers State students, the published 2024/2025 schedule listed the following total regular fees:

Student Category	Fresh Students	Returning Students
Science & Arts	₦103,600	₦74,600
Engineering & Law	₦109,600	₦74,600
Medical Sciences	₦119,600	₦94,600

These figures are from the university’s official 2024/2025 fee document and should not be treated as confirmed 2026/2027 fees.

The difference between categories shows why students should avoid relying on a single amount when discussing RSU school fees.

Again, these are official 2024/2025 figures, not confirmed 2026/2027 charges.

Students from other states should therefore wait for the applicable 2026/2027 fee schedule before budgeting based on a final figure.
